THE FARMERS' RIGHTS
PROJECT:
Partners and
funding
The Farmers' Rights Project collaborates with a
wide network of institutions involved in Farmers' Rights, among them government
ministries, research institutions, donor organizations, NGOs and last but not
least, farmers' organizations.
Some partners have contributed
directly to the project by writing commissioned reports (Manuel Ruiz, SPDA,
Peru; Feyissa Regassa, EOSA, Ethiopia; Anitha Ramanna, University of Pune,
India). Many others have answered our survey questionnaires, contributed with
information and taken part in valuable exchanges on Farmers' Rights.
The
activities are supported financially and professionally by five
institutions:
Ministry
of Foreign Affairs, Norway
Ministry of Agriculture and
Food, Norway
German GTZ, sectorial project People,
Food and Biodversity which is implemented on behalf of the German BMZ
Development Fund, Norway
Research Council of Norway
